Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

23-Year-Old From Southington Killed In I-91 Windsor Crash A 23-year-old was killed in an overnight crash in Connecticut. It happened in Hartford County just before 11 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in Windsor. Connecticut State Police said a 2024 Kawasaki was traveling northbound on I-91 south of Exit 36 when, for an unknown reason, it veered to the left and struck a median concrete barrier. Double-Fatal Shooting: Teens ID'd As Victims In Hartford Two teenagers were killed in an overnight shooting in Connecticut. It happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at an apartment complex in Hartford. The two victims in the incident at 94 Hendricxsen Ave. were found in a stairwell and later pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.  They were identified as Lavante Brown, age 19, of Hartford, and Aydin Davis, age 16, of Bloomfield, according to NBC Connecticut. Water Emergency: Jet Skier Rescued In Massapequa A jet skier in distress was rescued overnight on Long Island. The Water Emergency occurred on Friday, May 3 at 9:20 p.m. in Massapequa.
