After tipsters alerted police to the ongoing activity, detectives staked out the place, Brock said.
Around 10 o’clock Tuesday night, Detective Dave Lagrone approached Reggie Rosaldo, 28, and “was invited into a hotel room where he was propositioned with sex for money,” the chief said.
Rosaldo, “who identified himself as being transsexual,” was charged with prostitution, possession of a weapon and possession of a half-dozen hypodermic needles, Brock said.
Rosaldo was released without bail pending a Municipal Court hearing.
