Gunman robs cash from Paramus hotel

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: An armed robber took an undetermined amount of cash at gunpoint overnight from employees at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Paramus, police said this morning.

The black robber, believed to be in his 20s, was wearing a dark hoodie when he threatened the employees with a handgun, snatched the cash and fled the From Road Hotel around 2:20 a.m., Paramus police said.

Authorities were trying to determine whether the same man was responsible for other recent North Jersey hotel holdups.
