ORADELL, N.J. -- Irene C. Koth, a lifelong resident of Oradell, passed away peacefully in her home March 16 at 92.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxilary of the Oradell Fire Department for 40 years and worked in many local businesses in town.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Koth Sr., a volunteer firefighter in Oradell; and her son Jack Jr., a Marine.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Soffel and her husband Lee; grandchildren Kellie and Ron Odlum and Lee, Kris, Margaret and Scott Soffel; great-grandchildren Jack, Michael and Oshie; brother Robert Gabettie; sister-in-law Nancy Gabettie.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the William G. Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, thence to St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Oradell for an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
