PARAMUS, N.J. -- Concetta Oorobello, 91, of Paramus, died Oct. 30.
She was born in Bolognetta, Sicily and lived there for 44 years, the Bronx for five years, Garfield for 40 years and Paramus the past two years.
Oorobello was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, a member of Corpus Dominus Society in Italy and a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore; parents, Onofrio and Antonina Benanti; two brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her children, Rosalia (Salvatore) Aiello, Antonina (Salvatore) Benigno, and Anotnino (Elizabeth) Orobello; grandchildren, Philip (Kathy), Francesca (John), Rosalba (Chris), Erika (Jeff), Salvatore (Lisa), and Salvatore (Chrissy); and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Nicolas, Alexandra, Christian, Easton, Marco, Anthony and Declan.
Visiting will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield. The funeral is Wednesday, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home prior to the Mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Garfield at a time to be announced. Entombment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
