PARAMUS, N.J. -- Carlo Peter Calautti, of Paramus, died on Friday, Dec. 30. He was 92.
Born in 1924, Calautti was an Army veteran of World War II. He was honorably discharged and awarded several medals. He was an avid golfer and club champion.
"He was the cornerstone of his entire family and his unconditional love and support will be greatly missed by all," information from the funeral home noted. "His caring nature and quick wit drew people to him, and his passing will be felt by all his friends."
Calautti is survived by his wife, Frances; daughter Antoinette Iommetti and her husband Marino; son Frank and his wife Rosemarie; and granddaughter Carla Iommetti.
A funeral mass was held Wednesday morning, Jan. 4, at St. Joseph's Church, in Oradell. Entombment was at the Garden of Memories, in Washington Township. The William G. Basralian Funeral Home, in Oradell, assisted with arrangements.
