Pay More For Water? It Could Happen In Allendale

ALLENDALE, N.J. — Allendale residents and business owners could be looking at a 5 percent hike in their water rates, according to northjersey.com.

If approved, the proposed hike would be the first since 2012.

It would apply to everyone except senior citizens, people with special needs and those living in affordable housing, northjersey.com reports.

A public hearing and final vote on the proposal is set for March 23.
