River Edge Culture Center To Hold Toy-Building Workshop

RIVER EDGE, N.J. -- The River Edge Cultural Center will host "Brainy Robots," a toy-building workshop for youngsters on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the library.

"Brainy Robots" will provide an introduction to simple robotics and is open to the public free of charge. Using the LEGO Education WeDo Robotics Construction Set, youngsters will play with icon-based computer programming software, sensors, motors, pulleys, levers and the colorful blocks to construct robots and other creative inventions. 

Sessions will be offered from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Each will be limited to 12 students.
