PARAMUS, N.J. -- Saturday will be Sears' final day before shuttering at the Paramus Park Mall more than four decades after opening.
There is a major sale on exercise equipment and home appliances, its website says.
The bottom store will be replaced by a Stew Leonard's supermarket and the top a 12-screen movie theater.
The Sears store opened in August 1974, five months after the mall did.
