Severe Thunderstorms Possible In Paramus Wednesday

Wednesday will see showers and thunderstorms in Bergen and Passaic counties, mainly before 2 p.m., with a threat of damaging winds, the National Weather Service reported. The high will be near 70 degrees.

Gusts could reach as high as 28 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely overnight, again with gusty winds, with a low of 42.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, with the temperature falling to around 40 by 9 a.m. It will be breezy, with a west wind of 20 to 24 mph and gusts as high as 44 mph. Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low of 28.

Rounding out the work week, there will be a 50 percent chance of light snow on Friday, with a high near 37.
