A significant westward shift in the major Nor’easter due to arrive in the area late Monday night has resulted in Blizzard Warnings now being issued for New Jersey and an increase in snowfall projections.
The Blizzard Warning means there is the potential for falling and/or blowing snow with strong winds and extremely poor visibilities. The warning is in effect from 12 a.m. Tuesday to 12 a.m. Wednesday night, AccuWeather.com says.
New Jersey could get between 12 and 20 inches of snow late Monday night into Tuesday evening, with the highest amounts to the north and west, according to AccuWeather.com.
