Suriano of Paramus defeated Delbarton's Ty Agaisse, 3-1, to win the 126-pound final Sunday.

The Crusader grappler went an unprecedented 159-0 in his career. He joins South Plainfield's Anthony Ashnault as the only other undefeated wrestler in state history.

He's headed to Penn State this fall to wrestle in the Big 10.

Suriano wasn't the only BC wrestler to capture gold – Shane Griffith of Westwood (138), Joe Grello (170) and Kevin Mulligan (195) all topped the podium as well.
