PARAMUS, N.J. – Students at Bergen County College in Paramus created a special tribute to commemorate the one year anniversary of the mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

The school’s Bergen PRIDE club – which has a mission to foster understanding, respect, and acceptance throughout the college campus and the larger community – planted a field of rainbow flags.

“Bergen PRIDE has put up 49 flags in the quad on campus to honor all of the victims. Walk through if you are at the college,” the club shared on its Facebook page.

The one year anniversary of the attack is on Monday, June 12.
