PARAMUS, N.J. -- A group of students from the Frisch School, in Paramus, visited Twitter's New York City office on Tuesday, May 3, for a tour and discussion with staffers.
The group of touring students was comprised of members of the Girls Who Code club and sophomore engineering students. Girls Who Code instructor Pradnya Wakachaure and Mrs. Silverman, the club's faculty adviser and chair of engineering and computer science, accompanied them.
Two of the three Twitter engineers they met with women. They explained Twitter's operations and answered questions both about software engineering and career opportunities.
"What an empowering trip for some of our most aspiring young women at Frisch," the school noted in a Wednesday Facebook post.
