ORADALL, N.J. -- Art work from River Dell High School students will be displayed at the River Edge Cultural Center as part of the annual Spring Exhibit that opens on March 19. More than 70 young artists will feature approximately 80 of their best projects. The pieces will include works of sculpture, photography, watercolors, ceramics and video.
This will be the 19th consecutive year for the student show at the R.E.C.C., all of which have been held under the guidance and direction of the River Dell High School art department and teacher Gale Sasson.
"I love working with the students," Sasson said in a statement. "This year I was surprised how well some of them understood the concepts. They produced some high quality work."
The three-week exhibit is free and open to the public.
The premiere on March 19 will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The display will regularly be on view Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment for groups through April 6.
The River Edge Cultural Center is located at 201 Continental Ave.
