ORADELL, N.J. -- The Oradell Public School District announced on March 23 that it's decided to discontinue its preschool program, beginning with the upcoming 2016-2017 school year.

"This decision is based on the school's need for classroom space and a dwindling enrollment in the program over the past few years," Superintendent Paul Saxton said in a letter to parents and community members.

Parents will need to make different plans for their "rising three- and four-year-old students." Current students in the Pre-K 4 program can of course still register for kindergarten for the upcoming year.
