Challengers Unseats Oradell Republican Mayor, Council Members

ORADELL, N.J. — Democratic challenger Dianne C. Didio unseated Republican incumbent John L. Murray as Oradell mayor on Tuesday, according to unofficial results from the Bergen County Board of Elections.

Didio got 1,632 votes to 760 for Murray, who was running for his second term.

Both Republican council members lost, as well.The seats went to challengers Tracy Schoenberg, a Democrat, with 1,428 votes, and Independent Roger Tahijan, with 1,218 votes.

Incumbents Donna Risse Alonso, with 830 votes and John Y. Samuel, with 822, finished far behind.
