Paramus Detective Glenn Pagano has had a busy week, arranging to meet and then arresting three alleged prostitutes — one of them a transvestite — at local hotels.
They came from Queens, Florida and even Canada. And all advertised “the availability of prostitution services online,” Paramus police said.
A week ago today, Pagano arrested 23-year-old Jaqulynn Vaughn (above: top, right) of Tampa after she solicited him for sex, Lt. John Scully said.
Other officers quickly moved in, snatched her up and brought Vaughn to police headquarters. She was booked on prostitution charges and released without bail pending a court hearing, Scully said.
The same routine followed Monday night, when Pagano was solicted by Gabrielle Poissant, 20, of Montreal (bottom right) — only police added another charge after finding her carrying pot, the lieutenant said.
Pagano was right back at it Tuesday, this time arresting 28-year-old Carlos Farias (left) of Jackson Heights, Queens.
The wrinkle in that case is that, despite appearances, Farias is a man.
