Dyke R. Gill, 38, was scheduled for a June 7 first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on charges of theft by deception and misconduct by a corporate officer, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
The West Orange resident, who records show worked for Glenmark Pharmaceuticals from August 2013 to June 2016, was arrested by members of Grewal’s Financial Crimes Unit following an investigation into complaints that he’d duped the company, the prosecutor said.
Gill “created a limited liability company, of which he was the sole member, in an effort to create the impression that it was a legitimate, third-party vendor and purveyor of products to his employer” Grewal said.
Gill then “negotiated the purchase of products as a corporate representative and then utilized the limited liability company to distribute the products to the corporation at an inflated price,” the prosecutor said.
Detectives arrested him Wednesday during an interview at Grewal’s Paramus office. Gill was released pending his court appearance.
