Paterson I.T. Engineer Sexually Abused Girl In Paramus, Authorities Charge

PARAMUS, N.J. -- A 36-year-old married I.T. engineer from Paterson was ordered held on $250,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail after investigators charged him with sexually assaulting an underage girl in Paramus.

Barrington C. Hibbert was charged with aggravated sexual assault and child endangerment, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

Members of the prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit and Paramus police arrested Cruize after borough police received a complaint, Grewal said.

An Oct. 14 arraignment was scheduled in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
