YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Three people were injured, at least one possibly seriously, when two SUVs crashed at the corner of Paramus Road and West Midland Avenue last night, ripping the door off one of the vehicles.
Unofficial reports were that a front-seat passenger in one of the vehicles wasn’t wearing a seat belt and suffered a severe injury.
Two Paramus Emergency Medical Services ambulances and a paramedic unit from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood were dispatched to the scene, where a Jeep Liberty and Honda Pilot collided just after 8 o’clock last night.
The impact ripped off the Pilot’s passenger-side door.
Uniformed and plainclothes Paramus police officers interviewed witnesses while Ridgewood police assisted with traffic control.
