PARAMUS, N.J. -- The Paramus Police Department welcomed four new special officers.

Elias Atie, Justine Matulewicz, Driton Maloku and Joey Rizzolo were all graduated from the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute on Dec. 3.

They will serve the community as Class I Special Police Officers.

Class I Special Officers do not carry firearms and have limited law enforcement powers.
