Paramus police seek ex-Hooters waitress in pepper-spraying incident

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Authorities were looking for a former Hooters waitress who they said pepper-sprayed a current one tonight at the Paramus restaurant on Route 17.

The assailant got into a Jeep Cherokee that fled southbound on the highway, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The victim wasn’t seriously injured in the 8:35 p.m. attack, responders said.

Assault charges — or possibly aggravated assault — were expected.
