Paramus Police Officer Rachel Morgan publicly thanks friends, family — and her hero

Are you ready for this? From her hospital bed, Paramus Police Officer Rachel Morgan sent a message to everyone praying for her recovery — and thanked her backup, Officer Ryan Hayo: “I may not have survived had u not gotten there so fast,” she wrote.

“Not much time to [c]hat,” Morgan posted on the “Thoughts & Prayers for Rachel Morgan” Facebook page, “but wanted to say thank you and I mean eve[r]y single one of you for all you[r] thought[s] and prayers….[T]hey mean soooooooooooo much.

“Another huge thanks to my wond[er]ful family, friends, and all off [the Paramus police officers] who [have] been loyally glued to my side sin[c]e [S]unday.

“And a special Thank you to my back up officer Ryan [H]ayo. I may not have survived had u not gotten so there so fast. I luv u kiddo. You[‘re] my hero. xoxo.”
