ORADELL, N.J. — Oradell will buy three new automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for the senior center, Memorial Field and the Doug Parcells Athletic Complex (DPAC).
The devices will be the "talking" version that communicates directions to the person providing the aid, Oradell Councilman Michael Staff told Daily Voice.
"This is long overdue in my opinion," Staff said. "As council liaison to both the Recreation Department and the Board of Health, I'm glad I could take the lead and make this happen."
The AEDs will be installed in the coming months, Staff said, adding that the Board of Health will provide training for all interested.
