More Than Muffler Repair Needed After Paramus Crash

PARAMUS, N.J. -- A driver lost control of a BMW that crashed into a Route 17 muffler shop Thursday afternoon, rupturing a gas line.

Police evacuated the Midas Muffler after the four-door sedan slammed into the building on the highway's northbound side.

The driver was evaluated by EMS.

Police were investigating.
