Sean L. Blount, 42, of East Orange was also wanted in Millburn Township and had five outstanding traffic warrants, Joseph Pentangelo of the Port Authority told Daily Voice.

Officers at the Holland Tunnel toll plaza in Jersey City spotted Blount's 2000 Nissan Maxima after it triggered the E-ZPass "toll unpaid" sign around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, he said.

"On closer inspection, they saw the vehicle's inspection was expired since March," Pentangelo said, "so they pulled him over."

A computer check turned up Blount's expired license along with a theft warrant out of Paramus, the other warrants and $1,300 in unpaid E-ZPass tolls and fees, he said.

The Nissan was impounded, while Blount was charged with theft of services, bail jumping and driving with a suspended license while being issued several traffic summonses.
