Franklin Lakes PD: Driver Was Unlicensed, Unregistered, Uninsured

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- A driver wanted for skipping court in two towns was driving an unregistered and uninsured car without a license when Franklin Lakes police stopped him, authorities said Tuesday.

Jose Route, 26, of Paterson was turned over to Saddle Brook police after the Colonial Road stop just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, Capt. John Bakelaar said.

Rouse, who police discovered was wanted on warrants out of Saddle Brook and Paterson, was charged with separate counts for each violation, Bakelaar said.

He was then turned over to Saddle Brook police.
