PARAMUS, N.J. — The Bergen County Sheriff's Office is hoping someone leads them to a woman who they said robbed and bit another woman as she walked her dog in Van Saun Park.

Authorities can't put an approximate age to the assailant, who they said frequents the park.

They do know she's Asian and about 5-foot-3 and 110 pounds, with dark hair pulled back in a ponytail. She was wearing female athletic clothing, sheriff's spokesman Anthony Cureton told Daily Voice.

The robber approached the 50-something victim from Hackensack around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, grabbed the victim's cellphone and bit her several times, he said.

"In addition to the bite marks, the victim sustained scratches and bruises," Cureton said.

Anyone who has information that could help find the robber is asked to contact Sheriff's Detective David Saldana: (201) 646-2700 .
