RIVER EDGE, N.J. -- Shirley Ann (Schwarz) Sanders, of River Edge, died on Sunday, April 3. She was 73.
Born in Nyack, New York, Sanders worked in the Radiology Department of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for 28 years. She was a Disney enthusiast and avid pin collector, and she loved to dance.
Sanders is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Sanders Sr.; children Bill Sanders and his wife Donna, Matthew Sanders and his wife Irene, and Dawn Bennewitz and her husband Richard; grandchildren Justin, Casey, Chelsea, Tiffany, Jessica, Kristen and Kelsey; great-granddaughter Aubree Lynn; and sister Sandra Schwarz.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Eleanor Schwarz, and her brother, Richard Schwarz.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, with a religious service at 7:30 p.m., at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., in Dumont. Cremation is private.
