PARAMUS, N.J. – Salvatore Graniero, of Paramus, died Wednesday, March 23. He was 82.
Before retiring, he worked for Marlo Manufacturing as a sheet metal foreman. After retirement, he worked for P&A Auto as a delivery man.
Graniero was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served his country proudly.
He was the husband of Johanna (Marolda) Graniero; son of Gaetana (Massa) and the late Emilio Graniero; father of Ronald Graniero and his wife Geraldine, Kathryn Pagano and her husband, Frank, and Felicia Burger and her husband, Jon; grandfather of Bianca, Frankie, Serena, Vanessa and Jonny; and brother of Dolores Zaccardo.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. A funeral service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m.Tuesday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at the Roman Catholic Church Of The Annunciation, 50 West Midland Ave., Paramus. Interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
