PARAMUS -- Rose G. Schmidt, 93, of Paramus, died Oct. 4.
She was born in the United States in 1923.
Schmidt was a homemaker and a waitress at Stearns Department Store in Paramus. She was a member of the Paramus Senior Club #1.
She was predeceased by her husband, Helmuth "Smitty" Schmidt.
She is survived by her son, Conrad and his wife Leora; grandchildren, Patti DeLoreto and Ian and Eric Schmidt; and great-grandchild, Ivy DeLoreto.
There will be a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
As an expression of sympathy, the family request donations be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
