RIVER EDGE, N.J. -- Mildred T. Spano, a longtime resident of River Edge, died Thursday, March 31.
She was a founding member of St. Peter’s Parish in River Edge.
She is survived by her children Joseph Spano and his wife Bunny, Peter Spano and his wife Rose and Gail Quinn and her husband Colin; daughter-in-law Arlene; grandchildren Gregory (Kerry), Vincent, Peter, Rosemary (Alex), Caroline, Vanessa, Aidan and Colin; and great-grandchildren Andrew, Justin, Mark, Chase and Elizabeth.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Spano; son Vinent; and granddaughter Gina.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. The funeral service is at 8:30 a.m. Monday from the funeral home to St. Peter’s RC Church for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
