RIVER EDGE, N.J. -- Louise G. Iannantuano -- a River Edge resident, formerly of Ridgefield and North Bergen -- died on Friday, Jan. 27. She was 86.
"Known for her positive spirit of living, she embraced life, family and friends with rich enthusiasm and enjoyment," information from the funeral home noted. "She leaves a legacy of acceptance and love to those who survive her."
Before she retired, Iannantuano was a corporate controller for International Folding Box. After her husband died, she returned to the workforce as a controller of Medtrx Healthcare.
She was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle in River Edge and St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church in Ridgefield, where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She also was a member of the bereavement committee at St. Matthew. She was a member of St. Peter's Rosary Society, Friends of the River Edge Library, Bergen County Historical Society, SCORE of River Edge and AARP.
Iannantuano is survived by her son Guy Anthony; daughter-in-law Dawn Lang Iannantuano; grandchildren Jodi, Anthony, Christopher and Nicholas of River Edge; siblings Marie Novembre of Palisades Park, Romilda Savianeso of Fairview, Frank Aiello of North Bergen and Thomas Aiello of Ridgewood; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, Anthony; parents Albert Aiello and Mary Wolenski; and siblings Anna Commons, Helen Valentine, Jennie O'Kane, Frances Abalsamo, Frank Frederick, Robert and John Aiello, and John and Joseph Palamara.
The funeral service will be from the Basralian Funeral Service, 559 Kinderkamack Rd., in Oradell, on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 445 Fifth Ave., in River Edge. Internment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
