PARAMUS, N.J. -- Josephine Wacht, of Paramus, died Monday, Aug. 15. She was 89.
Before retiring, she worked for the Paramus Board of Education as a teacher's aide for more than 25 years. She was a member of AARP and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation in Paramus.
She was the mother of Carol Hudzik and her husband Bruce of Paramus; and grandmother of Bridget Hudzik. She also is survived by her sister-in-law, Julia Strusiak; and many nieces, nephews, great-niece, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. There will be a funeral service at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, 234 N. Farview Ave, Paramus. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
