PARAMUS, N.J. -- Frank Bartik, 74, of Paramus, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Before retiring, Bartikworked for Verizon for more than 40 years.
He was a member of the Catholic War Vets of Paramus. Bartik was a U.S. Army Specialist 4th Class who served his country proudly during the Vietnam War.
He was the husband of 38 years to the late Joanne (nee Updegraff); father of Heather Bartik of Paramus and Keri Parrella of Vernon; and grandfather of Emilie and Justin.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 S. Farview Ave., Paramus. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, 234 N. Farview Ave., Paramus. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
