PARAMUS, N.J. -- Christine M. Festa, of Paramus, died Sunday, Nov. 20.
Born in New York City, she moved to Paramus in 1952, along with other immediate family members, purchasing four contiguous houses on one street. Together they formed a ‘family compound’ and a strong presence in the neighborhood. She had the rare ability to connect with any and all people and sharing her unending love.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; brother; two children; a son-in-law; and grandchild.
Visiting will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. There will be a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Annunciation, 50 W. Midland Ave., Paramus. Interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
