Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera thinks so -- and pointed it out on his Facebook post Tuesday night, garnering 240 comments.

That's because the question on June 20 during the show's Double Jeopardy "Tangled Up in Blue" round was about Bergen's blue laws. The statement -- worth $1,600 -- read: “Bergen County, New Jersey has one of the USA’s last blue laws, banning retailers from doing this.”

The answer Trebek accepted  -- after an initial "What is selling alcohol?  -- was "What is selling alcohol on Sundays?”

There was a noticeable pause before Trebek said, “We’ll accept that.” Another pause: “Selling anything on Sundays.”

"The answers were comical and quite frankly, wrong," said one Facebook posting.

Then, of course, the debate on the Mayor's page continued. Go HERE to read. Bergen residents clearly know the answer.
