Accused Carjacker Who Led Police On Chase In Paramus Sued By Local Mom

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — The woman who pulled over in Englewood Cliffs to help the man who ultimately tried carjacking her has filed a lawsuit for extreme emotional distress, NJ.com reports.

Sereymanta Kong of Wallingford, CT, now 24, led authorities on a crash-filled, low-speed chase in a stolen police car in July 2015 after carjacking Aida Lekic, 43, Daily Voice reported.

The chase ended when a Leonia police officer bumped the stolen Englewood Cliffs police cruiser with his department SUV, sending it onto the lawn of a Route 4 car dealership in Paramus.
