PARK RIDGE, N.J. — Two Paramus women will be opening a Pure Barre studio in Park Ridge this spring.

Sofia Psarianos and her sister-in-law, Anna Kalogeras, are hoping to launch classes at the Kinderkamack Road facility in early April.

Pure Barre classes are 55 minutes long and combine barre work, Pilates and yoga, Psarianos said.

“I never worked out a day in my life until I did Pure Barre,” said Psarianos, formerly an event planner.

The low-impact workouts helped Psarianos ditch unused gym memberships and heal a lower back pain she’d developed in a car accident.

“I fell in love with Pure Barre,” she said. “And I never looked back.”

Pure Barre Park Ridge is seeking instructors and “barre-tenders” — who provide administrative support.

Pure Barre covers expense training for all instructors in the company’s South Carolina headquarters.
