The 28-year-old lost her mom when she was five, and on Monday night, her father Bob Evans was left critical after a heroin user hit his car head on on Route 17, Evans said.

"My dad has done everything for me. He worked three jobs to support myself and my grandmother," she said. "Dad loves music and has made it his life, attending as many concerts as he could and also becoming a career volunteer at local music theaters.

"My dad is literally the guy who would keep dog biscuits in his car in case he came across a dog in need and even built a small house for the stray cats."

All Evans can do is be the super daughter for her "super dad" -- as she has launched a GoFundMe that has amounted nearly $7,300 as of Friday afternoon.

"What is upsetting is that as I write this down and along with the past few days, I have had the reflex to call him and can not," Evans said.

"He’s been in intensive care fighting for his life and mobility all because of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"It’s frustrating to hug someone who can’t hug you back and say I love you to someone who can’t say it back because of the medical position they are in. And, I can’t imagine how he must feel from his set of eyes."
