Bergen County Academies Grad Featured In Forbes' 30 Under 30

HACKENSACK, N.J. — A Bergen County Academies graduate is featured in Forbes' latest "30 Under 30" list -- the definitive list of the world's most inspiring young innovators who are transforming the world.

Andrew Hermalyn is Executive Vice President of University Partnerships and Programs at 2U Inc (NASDAQ: TWOU). As a member of 2U’s Senior Leadership Team, Hermalyn reports directly to the CEO, but got his start at the company nearly a decade ago as its founding intern. 

"Andrew Hermalyn is responsible for forging new university relationships and expanding existing ones for the $206 million revenue online degree powerhouse, including a groundbreaking inter-disciplinary collaboration with Harvard University," Forbes says. 

"Now a member of the senior leadership team, he's been with 2U since its start in 2008, and helped successfully negotiate some of its earliest partnerships, including UC Berkeley, UNC Chapel Hill and Washington University in St. Louis."
