Brian Ward of Ramsey was driving through the township when he spotted a police officer trying to help a fawn that had her foot stuck in between the rails of a wrought iron fence, his wife, Kelly Ward, told Daily Voice.

"Brian got out of his car and held the fawn so the policeman would be able to get his foot out," she said, "and that's exactly what the two men were able to accomplish together.

"She may be a little sore but will be running in no time I'm sure. Thanks to them."
