Skyla was adopted by the college's Office of Military and Veterans Affairs and raised awareness on “One-on-One with Steve Adubato” last week.

The segment covered Skyla's training as an emotional support animal to assist veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression and/or panic attacks as a result of their experiences while in military service.

"She's here to give you love and get love back," Tami Pichardo said on the show.
