PARAMUS, N.J.– Want to be in a video to help raise awareness of mental health issues in Bergen County?
The Stigma-Free task force wants you to come to Bergen Community College in Paramus next month.
Organizers are seeking a diverse cross-section of county residents of varying age, gender, occupation and ethnicity willing to discuss how they've lived with mental illness or with someone who's had it, said Michele Hart-Loughlin, the division director of the Bergen County Department of Health Services Division of Mental Health.
"We are looking for passionate people who are willing to add their voice and face to the video," she said.
Recording will take place at BCC's West Hall TV studio at 5 p.m. on Aug. 2 and 3. If necessary, the organization said it will return Aug. 9 and 10.
Participants must sign release forms. They should dress casually, said Hart-Louglin, adding that only two people will be in the room.
