HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Hackensack Performing Arts Center will officially open this weekend.
The new downtown Hackensack venue, once an old Masonic Temple, is now a “state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center,” according to its website .
The venue “will showcase premier performers, including Broadway and Hollywood stars, as well as Grammy-winning artists,” the website states, and it will also serve to nurture new artists, musicians, directors choreographers and visual artists.
Jazz duo Jane Monheit & Tony DeSare will give the venue’s kick off performance on Saturday evening. For more information, CLICK HERE .
