The screening is co-sponsored by the River Edge Cultural Center, Friends of the River Edge Public Library and the River Dell Hadassah. Viewers will follow the journey of journalist Howard Reich as he travels across the US and Eastern Europe to learn the details of his mother Sonia's hiding from the Nazis in her youth and its potential cause of her onset PTSD 60 years later.
The remembrance will also include an introduction and post film question and answer period led by Dr. Michael Riff, Director of The Gross Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Ramapo College. The presentation is free and open to the public.
