Princesses Only! Oradell Organization Fights Child Abuse In NJ

ORADELL, N.J. — The Book and Needle Woman’s Club of Oradell is holding a “ Princess Breakfast” in February to aid the Special State Project.

New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs of GFWC selected "Prevent Child Abuse New Jersey" as the Special State Project for 2016-2018.

Its mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect for all New Jersey children. The organization is the only statewide non-profit dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in all forms, for all New Jersey children.

The event will be on Sat., Feb. 11, 9:30 am to 11:00 am, at River Dell Middle School, 230 Woodland Ave., River Edge (Snow date is Feb. 18).

Guests are encouraged to come dressed as in a princess ballgown complete with a tiara and pearls. 

There will be a continental breakfast and activities including manicures, games, pictures and more.

The cost is $10.00 for adults and $12.00 for kids ages (3-10). Ages 2 & under are free.

Advanced registration necessary. RSVP by February 1, 2017.

The Book and Needle Woman’s Club of Oradell is a member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs, the largest volunteer women’s service organization in the state, providing opportunities for education, leadership training, and community service, and making a difference in the lives of others, one project at a time.
