HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- The Ramapo Valley Model Railroad Club will host what may be its last annual holiday open houses on Nov. 20 and 27, and Dec. 4, 11 and 18 at the Washington Elm VFW Post 192, 620 Cliff St.

The open houses will each take place from 1-4 p.m.

In November 2017, the club will lose its lease and cease operation at the Ho-Ho-Kus VFW.

To celebrate more than 50 years of operation, donations to the upcoming shows will be reduced to $1 per person, so as many people as possible can enjoy them.

Despite the loss of its current venue, the railroad club is marshaling an effort to find a new home.

Anyone willing to donate space – whether a basement, barn, building or floor – is asked to get in touch with the club.
